Gm to everyone who chooses to stay. You can choose algorithmic feeds and frictionless notifications. But understand what you’re actually choosing: letting someone else decide what you see, when you see it, and whether you get to speak at all. Sovereignty has a cost. It always has. The question isn’t whether Nostr is harder to use. The question is whether you believe the ability to speak without permission is worth the inconvenience of building it yourself. The devs working on shoestring budgets aren’t just fixing UX problems. They’re answering a deeper question: can we have digital communication that no one controls? Every day you stay, you’re voting yes.

Children and influence: Control—>Respect When your children are small influence is control. When they’re grown influence is respect. From what you require to how you live, ie, do your grown children respect how you live? Here’s a caveat: you must be respectable even when influence is control. You don’t change half way along, your kids do.

The goal isn’t to cash out, not from Bitcoin, not from life. Build circular flows: energy that sustains you, work that fulfills you, relationships that nourish you. Stop planning your exit strategy and start building something you never want to leave. image

The real test of a revolutionary technology isn’t whether it excludes power structures. It’s whether it forces them to play by new rules they didn’t write and can’t rewrite. Bitcoin doesn’t care about your ideology, your nationality, or your net worth. It cares about cryptographic proof and consensus mechanisms. A government holding Bitcoin is like a king being forced to use a currency he can’t debase. The system hasn’t been compromised, the king has been constrained.

The first battlefield was narrative control. The final one is protocol design. Whoever owns neither becomes untouchable.
