Who is forming your kids right now? Be honest.
Every screen, every classroom, every feed is running a catechism on them. Teachers, coaches, peers, algorithms, the kid down the street, the streamer they watched for three hours last night. All of it is shaping. None of it is neutral.
The culture rewards passivity. It rewards compliance. It hands dopamine for nothing and calls it self esteem. It pays kids in attention for outrage and in validation for victimhood. By the time they are twelve their nervous system runs on a tempo no parent set.
You are not opting out of this. You are competing with it.
What you reward, you shape. This is the oldest law of formation. A parent who refuses to wield reward has not risen above the principle. They have handed the wheel to whoever will.
So pay your kids. Pay deliberately. Pay them for what the culture will never pay them for. Pay them for telling the truth when a lie was easier. Pay them for the chore finished without being asked twice. Pay them for the attempt and the failure they absorbed. Pay them for showing up to the thing they are bad at and becoming a little less bad at it.
Do not pay for outcomes alone. The kid reads the metric. The kid becomes the metric. Reward courage and you get courage. Reward only winning and you get anxiety.
Pay them in sats.
Fiat is part of the catechism you are fighting. It teaches that money appears, patience is foolish, today’s dollar buys more than tomorrow’s. Every allowance in depreciating paper is a small lesson in time preference inversion. You do not need to reinforce what the culture is already running on them.
Sats teach the opposite. Scarcity. Holding. The one who waits is the one who wins. You are forming a kid and forming a saver in the same motion.
Reward what you want to see standing in your living room in twenty years. They are already there, in the kid in front of you. You are paying them into focus

Most people form opinions before they understand the tools used to defend them.
A few basics worth knowing before you argue anything publicly.
The burden of proof belongs to whoever makes a claim. If you say “that’s false,” you just made a claim. You now have a burden too.
Contradicting yourself mid argument doesn’t mean you’re evolving. It means your position wasn’t load bearing to begin with.
Shifting the question when you can’t answer the one in front of you is visible to everyone in the room except you.
Calling something a “common practice” when someone challenges your assumption is not a rebuttal. It’s a deflection dressed as logic.
Reducing your own position to absurdity to win a point is still reducing your own position to absurdity.
Examples matter because they expose whether your principle actually holds. If your rule has ten exceptions it’s not a rule, it’s a preference.
Know what your position actually commits you to before you defend it in public. Because someone on the other side might know your position better than you do.
Half the men you envy are quietly miserable. Stop optimizing for their scoreboard.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. Also, Good Morning Nostr

Sometimes all we need is a little laughter
He (Christ) did not come to make bad men good.
He came to make dead men live.
Wrath absorbed. Curse reversed. Death swallowed.
So live!

gm. Bird flu can team up with covid, monkeypox, and whatever else they cook up next. My answer is still no. Not because I’m not paying attention but because I am.

Someone needs to hear this right now!!
You can’t see the shape of a hard season while you’re inside it. The fog is part of the design. If you could read the lesson clearly while you were bleeding, the lesson wouldn’t be doing its work.
Clarity is a backwards facing gift. It shows up after. Sometimes weeks after and sometimes years. You look up one morning and realize the thing that almost broke you became the thing that built the part of you that holds everyone else up now.
The job inside the storm is smaller than people make it. Stay upright. Keep breathing. Don’t make permanent decisions about your life from inside a temporary collapse. Don’t try to think your way to the meaning before the meaning has formed. It hasn’t.
The men I trust most got walked through the furnace. Not around it but through it. They came out softer in the right places and harder in the right places. They don’t talk much about what it cost. You can see it in how they move.
Hang on. The next one is coming. It always is. But so is the man you’ll be on the other side of this one 🤙🏼
There’s a devil in the dollar and a serpent in the seal. This song names them both without ever saying the F word….fiat.

The “freedom” to use Bitcoin inside the legacy system is permission shaped, not freedom shaped.
Every touchpoint with fiat is a taxable event. You’re taxed on the money you use to pay the tax. The math is so complex you have to hire someone to stay out of prison.
That’s not an exit. That’s a longer leash.
The exit is circular. Peer to peer. No conversion.
What dimension of chess are we in now?
I used to think I was a conservative.
Then I watched both teams march to the same drum on the same wars, the same omnibus bills, the same surveillance state, the same protection of the same people. The jersey changes. The vote tally never does.
That’s why I watch Thomas Massie.
You don’t have to agree with every Massie position to recognize what he is. He’s the lone “no” on bills nobody is allowed to read. He’s the vote that exposes what unanimous consent is actually hiding. He’s the one Republican who boycotted Netanyahu’s address to Congress and called it political theater. He was right.
Right now AIPAC’s super PAC and a billionaire funded outfit calling itself MAGA Kentucky have poured millions into removing him. Paul Singer. Miriam Adelson. A foreign lobby’s vendors. AI-generated hotel-room smears. A deepfake of him with AOC and Omar. They’re spending like this because he won’t vote for someone else’s war.
His primary is May 19. He may lose his seat for telling the truth about an undeclared war and a lobby that owns most of his colleagues. He’s also the rare member of Congress who understands Bitcoin, came up through MIT, and never needed a consultant to teach him what a constitution is.
A man who will lose his seat before he sells it is rare. Increasingly rare. Worth watching, regardless of party.
Especially when there is no party.
