In my local area, Bitcoin is what I’m known for… and I’m deeply, deeply trusted in that arena. I have years and years of experience assisting people with their hardware + the blockchain… and so, people trust me when I tell them something. They trust me when I tell them something is going to be okay and they trust me when I tell them to avoid a group or product because I’ve sussed them out and found them to be no bueno. They trust me to be the canary in the coal mine. I say this to emphasize that Nick Szabo is right… Bitcoin isn’t trustless, it’s trust minimized, the difference was always the level playing field… that instead of a top down experience, we are noticing a rounding effect. Everyone who was bottom up on the iceberg is now centrally sitting across from the top down players at the round table… We call this a balancing of powers. And this, my friends, is how you take down a war machine.
