Anyone that says they're pro-Bitcoin and supports Trump does not understand that working towards mining the rest of Bitcoin in any one single country would mean potential failure for #Bitcoin. It most likely won't happen, but worth keeping in mind. Trump doesn't understand what he is saying. He's pulling the threads of would-be-patriots. Patriotism should be to your country and culture, not to money. That's what fiat got us. An uncompetitive hegemony.

No excuse to not run your own node at this point. If you don't allow custody of your Bitcoin, you shouldn't allow custody of your sats given the current solutions that are out there. I see so many juicy targets here.

It's like a frickin' epidemic these days. Seeing all the monero peeps out these days is just so par for the course - Limitations of Bitcoin are vocalized and suddenly someone has ALL the solutions at the settlement layer with no trade-offs. It's PERFECT! And yet.... It's not as decentralized - You can't recreate Bitcoin's level of decentralization. It's not as secure - You don't have as much energy backing it. XMR makes a ton of elements confidential to provide privacy, but security through obscurity isn't security at all. And with that, you've lost your entire foundation with which to build upon. I don't think Trump being at the Bitcoin conference is going to be what many americans expect it to be. In fact, between him bashing on El Salvador, Keiser not taking his shit, and him likely thinking it'll be an ego-field-trip when in fact the event is far more than just about him.... I can see something going terribly wrong. Temper your expectations. And then prepare for the unexpected.
