Listening to @POPULAR FRONT on the 404 media podcast, simply amazing how many problems Nostr + Bitcoin solves for creators. Arcane censorship rules on YouTube, the inability to pay people around the world using conventional rails, Patreon billing systems that change weekly... These are just "cost of doing business" now for creators, but it doesn't have to be that way....

What interests me the most isn't necessarily whether Midjourney's "full body scanner" actually works, or has any meaningful clinical value, but the context in which a bunch of software people turn around and go "hey guys, let's just build a medical device."

The fundamental reason why LLMs are going to be better at Coding and Math than Science and (real-world) Engineering, is the triviality of verification. Whether code is "correct" can be verified in an instant. Whether a scientific hypothesis is correct requires actual real-world verification.
