🇬🇧 #UK: The UK government has increased its national terror threat level to "severe" following yesterday’s stabbing attack in Golders Green, North London. A man stabbed two Jewish men in broad daylight. The incident has since been formally classified by counter-terrorism police as a “terrorist attack”. The suspect, 45-year-old Essa Suleiman, was apparently previously flagged by the counter-terrorism program "Prevent" in 2020, a UK government initiative aimed at identifying and supporting individuals at risk of being drawn into terrorism.
