You deregulate, we’ll invest billions, industry titans to tell EU! It won't happen. The leadership in the EU are all about control. They think they know best. From their point of view, without their guiding hand, the markets will detriorate to chaos. They are not controlling the markets for their personal benefit. They are controlling it for the markets benefit. Even if the EU rulling class (the so called civil servants) act upon these suggestion, they will view these as temporary measures. Just to get the train rolling. Once it's rolling, they think, there will be a need for a strong hand (theirs) on the wheel. In other words, what the EU needs is a new way of thinking about markets, ownership and rights. If these titans would invest in educating the public, they won't need to try and convince the politicians. The people will change the politics. #philosophy #objectivisim #economy
