Autonomous driving will reduce the price of a drive. But there are also a lot of things to worry about. And I am not talking about the efficiency of the AI. Companies like Get and Uber will create mega fleets of electric cars. Building power plants and servicing facility to service their fleets. They will self insure to reduce proces. This will cause * Private people will buy less cars. This is the fulfilment of "you won't own anything and be happy" * These companies will not only know where everyone is going but they can refuse service to places and on specific times. Imagine a concert that the govt doesn't want people to go to and suddenly there is no service to the area of the concert. * The cheep prices of rides will increase the number of cars on the road. I am not saying that these are blockers. Just that we need to find solutions for this.

I think I am beginning to understand the #Trump logic behind annexing #Greenland. (Not that I agree with the conclusion!) * Greenland in Western hands is a necessity for #USA security (I think everyone agrees in this point) * Europe (UK / EU / whatever) will not protect Greenland. The way it's spending on NATO and building it's army it's obvious that Europe strategy is to wait untill it's conquered and then bef the US for help. * The US can spend a shit load of money to protect Greenland. Europe will love that. The EU will get all the revenue and the control of Greenlands natural resources. The US will pay the bill. Trump understood that he has no choice. He will have to spend the resources to protect Greenland. But he is a America First president. And he concluded that if the US is paying the bill, it should also receive the goods. In this case, total control over Greenlands resources.
