The local news came on after a football game I was watching and it was the first time in years I paid any attention to it. I couldn’t believe the amount of pure propaganda and fear mongering I heard in the first 15 minutes. The fact that a single person watches any of these local news channels is a testament to how dumb the average American has become lol.

I never recommend books before I finish reading them, but I have to make an exception for @Neal and his book Modern Chains. Only through the introduction (!!) and outside the Bible I think will be the most important book I’ve ever read to date. “Number go up” bitcoiners won’t be interested because they overlook the much more important moral and ethical foundations. However, the real ones will be thoroughly enriched through this book. I’ve never heard anyone make the moral and ethical case against our monetary system in clearer words that resonated in my bones. Couple short excerpts below from just the first 10 pages: “A person recognizes moral truth long before the mind untangles technical nuance” (!!) “Calling our system ‘broken’ surrenders moral clarity and obscures the deeper reality: the system functions precisely as designed, to dominate and extract human effort. The only things genuinely broken are the people it consumes and discards” “The ethics of money is not secondary: it takes precedence. Economics explains the ‘what,’ while morality defines the ‘why.’ Morality is primary: it takes precedence, comes first. Morality is the soil in which economic seeds are planted, and the quality of that soil determines the quality of the fruit” “We will avoid dense data sets and intricate financial models; instead, we will pull back the curtain on a fundamental issue; if a system forcibly extracts our productivity, then no amount of economic theory can redeem it” “Superficial analysis of economics alone cannot excavate the deeper moral foundation; for that we need a philosophical shovel” “Debasing the money debases human dignity; it stifles our freedom, and as this book will show, freedom is far more than a political ideal; it is the bedrock of our humanity”

One of the many signs that western culture is broken is that people equate owning animals with raising children. Dog “moms” and cat “dads” gotta be one of the most backwards things I’ve ever seen. Grew up with dogs and love (some) dogs. But putting kids and canines anywhere near a similar realm shows how much western culture needs to be totally rebuilt. Pet idolatry has to end and sane people need to push back.

“A system of capitalism presumes sound money, not fiat money manipulated by a central bank. Capitalism cherishes voluntary contracts and interest rates that are determined by savings, not credit creation by a central bank” - Ron Paul Most people who complain about capitalism have no idea that what most of us have lived under our entire lives is pure Keynesianism, which is essentially soft communism. Love being part of the fight to bring back sound money for the sake of human flourishing. #capitalism #communism #soundmoney image

Music often captures the mood better than any other medium. Every word of this song resonates. The right v. left divide is much less important than the sovereign v. slave master divide. As @Neal has said, we need to not only emphasize the sovereign individual but the SOVEREIGN COLLECTIVE. There is real strength in numbers and networks. Nostr is a beautiful demonstration of this principle in action. Love this place. “We've got to get stronger Stronger as a people We've got to get smarter Smarter as a unit And watch out for our children Because they are our future Appreciate our women Because they bear our fruits, yeah-yeah My sister, my brother My sister, my brother…” BJ The Chicago Kid - “The People”

Twitter sucks so bad lol. My whole feed is full of people losing their minds over some young dudes throwing around racial slurs in a private group chat. None of those people who are “disgusted” and outraged have said a single word about all the innocent men, women and children who are being starved and murdered in Gaza. No comment on the documented rape and torture of Palestinian hostages or any number of blatant atrocities Israel is committing. Bibi Mileikowsky (Satanyahu is fake name) said he was gonna give Elon the call and boy did Elon get in line fast. What’s funny is you realize how controlled the narrative is when you see almost zero pro-Israel content on decentralized apps like this. #twitter #freespeech #freepalestine #endzionism image
