The local news came on after a football game I was watching and it was the first time in years I paid any attention to it. I couldn’t believe the amount of pure propaganda and fear mongering I heard in the first 15 minutes. The fact that a single person watches any of these local news channels is a testament to how dumb the average American has become lol.

Only through the introduction (!!) and outside the Bible I think will be the most important book I’ve ever read to date. “Number go up” bitcoiners won’t be interested because they overlook the much more important moral and ethical foundations. However, the real ones will be thoroughly enriched through this book. I’ve never heard anyone make the moral and ethical case against our monetary system in clearer words that resonated in my bones. One of the many signs that western culture is broken is that people equate owning animals with raising children. Dog “moms” and cat “dads” gotta be one of the most backwards things I’ve ever seen. Grew up with dogs and love (some) dogs. But putting kids and canines anywhere near a similar realm shows how much western culture needs to be totally rebuilt. For a majority of people, we need to shift so much more of our attention to nostr adoption and retention than we do on Bitcoin philosophy, at least as a starting point. The first time I came to nostr I flamed out in about two days. It was only because you guys relentlessly pushed nostr on Bitcoin podcasts that I was already listening to that I came back with a totally different understanding. With that understanding I was able to put in enough effort to persevere through some of the difficulties to get to a place where I could see the power. Now, because I definitely can't contribute as a developer, I want to contribute to nostr adoption and retention in any way I can. To somehow channel the lessons learned to get plebs foot in the door here. Even in the last month I've seen more traction with family and friends on nostr as I've clumsily fumbled through explaining it, than I saw in the last three years of excellent, reasonable arguments about Bitcoin lol. So please feel free to add any ideas for how best to do that in the comments. A substack or something? I don't know. Trying to crowdsource for the nostr revolution tho so please help out with any ideas that might spark something for me! SIDENOTE: So tired of how much I see petty spats between gold bugs / NGU Bitcoin maxis when we really need to focus way more on broadening the SOUND MONEY umbrella. I got into Bitcoin primarily because I hate the government and the fiat system that supports it. I hate the wars and I hate the overwhelming brokenness that we're inheriting that has caused so many of my friends to kill themselves or overdose. I care WAY MORE about destroying fiat than I do about whatever dollar value is tied to BTC or about some philosophical allegiance I'm supposed to have about what percentage of Bitcoin I need to hold to be considered a maxi. I love Bitcoin. I believe BTC will become the largest asset in the world by a long shot, long-term. It has properties that gold cannot match. But that doesn't mean that there is no place for precious metals or that precious metals and especially precious metals derivatives won't outperform in the short run. It also doesn't mean that there aren't productive businesses in which we part with our Bitcoin as an investment in that business (should go without saying). That said, I think the best businesses to invest in the next couple years will be gold and silver miners. Nothing to sell and I don't gain anything by anyone investing in these companies as I'm just a normal shareholder. But I WANT ALL THE HOMIES TO GET RICH. And I especially want people who love freedom to take advantage of asymmetric opportunities so that we can then take those returns and funnel them back into Bitcoin and the nostr ecosystem. Same with all my fam. I literally bought some of my extended family members shares in these companies, told them about it and said I'm not giving this to you for 18 months, but watch what this does in the meantime. I'm investing a majority of the excess cash from the sale of our home for the next year in companies like Americas Gold & Silver ($USAS), Santacruz Silver Mining ($SCZMF) and 1911 Gold ($AUMBF). Do your own research and do your own math. I'm a business owner, so I watch margins closely. Watch these Q3 earnings and look at the macro picture of where gold and silver are going and use common sense on what that means for these mining stocks that are being valued as if gold is going to collapse back to $2000 and silver to $25. To anyone who understands elementary school level business basics - think about a company like Americas Gold and Silver. Their market cap is $1.2B but they are a currently operating mines in Idaho and Mexico with great existing infrastructure sitting on 226 MILLION OUNCES OF SILVER. They announced this week that as a zero-cost by product of their mining operations they are the ONLY ANTIMONY (ESSENTIAL CRITICAL MINERAL) PRODUCER IN THE US. They also produce copper as a byproduct and other very valuable metals.
