Not a recession.
Rather, economic normalization… after the extremely wonky social, monetary, and fiscal policies from 2020 to 2022.
Understand this and you will do well.

I feel like a chump…
I can receive Zaps but still can’t Zap others via my linked @strike account.
Is it an ongoing issue with @strike and/or @primal?
Or is it stemming from my lack of technical prowess?
Any ideas @jack mallers?
From a technical perspective, my favorite short term positive divergence is a rising global M2 monetary supply and a sideways-to-down bitcoin price.
… which is what is currently happening.
FWIW.

This ain’t no time to be a sat-stackin sissy.
Relax.
This is expected #bitcoin price action for the month of August, given the current macroeconomic conditions and, especially, after the huge pre-halving, spot BitcoinETF-hyped-up surge (too far, too fast).
Stacking more sats during a red monthly candle at this stage of the cycle while global M2 money supply is steadily rising again is a dreamy set of circumstances, as far as I am concerned.
Don't get shaken out by short-term noise.
1. Head down.
2. Word hard.
3. Stack sats.

"We were unable to send this Zap?" -- Does any technically-literate person know why I keep getting this error message? I can receive Zaps, but can't send them...
My favorite page on the StLouisFed .org (FRED) site:
"Buying eggs with bitcoins."
Since they started keeping track in January 2015 through July 2024, the price of a dozen eggs:
- In US dollars: Up +46.0%, from $2.11 to $3.08.
Image
- In #bitcoin: Down -99.5%, from 925,406 sats to 4,903 sats.
Image
CONCLUSION: Life gets ever more expensive the longer you save in dollars (or any government fiat currency), while it generally gets (much) cheaper the longer you save in #bitcoin.
Inflationary fiat currency versus neutral inelastic energy money...
The choice is yours.

What sane person wouldn't want life affordability to go parabolic over time?
Welcome to life on a #Bitcoin standard.
(Chart: Bitcoin in USD, priced in gold.)

Trying out Primal for the first time, thanks to the annoying insistence of @ODELL ... Looking forward to posting on #NOSTR more regularly (and weening off of X) via a solid desktop app! 🍻
