I think this is the most important lesson I got from Derren Brown. Here it is Simon Sinek to say it, framed in very nice examples. Our brain always focuses on the object and has a hard time to understand negatives. Not many people think of a cat or of a mouse, when someone tells: "Do not think of an Elefant" So it is worth it to try to articulate explanations positively. Not that it sounds positive. But really in a logical meaning positive. Say:. "Eat at the fucking table"(positive) Dont say: "Pleas do not eat on the couch"(negative for the not)

What a powerful speech 😃 Maby we should learn to stop speaking and listening more. Because only together we are strong. And every single individual is a minority and should therefore listen more than they speak. (At least me I have to learn this a lot)

Really great, how Andrew points out how important it is to take action. Seems to me like playing proactive in chess. Create plans. Since even if one fails, there is at least an active part to have a learning from it. It is hard to learn something, from nonaction, passivity, passing decisions to others. Be responsible even when unsure, if you are correct. Reality is there to show you. Every single time.
