He is a hardware hacker and produced one of the first commercially sold USB-cable with keylogging, wifi-connection and static or dynamic payloads. Absolutly wild anyone can just buy his clables now for around 300 Euro from any shop listed on his website:

Maby we need to learn to distrust USB-cables, when we did not buy them. Companies which care about security will have to mark their cables, when they are trusted. Most operations in live are irreversible or one direction is exponentially higher in investments. For example is it much more work to forge a drinkingglass than to destruct it.
