#socialmedia #grownostr I was just thinking of a good projection of commercial social media into an other aspect of technology, in order to reevaluate it. When we look at Instagram, Ticktock or whatever add-based algorithmic social media. Then we all know they gain their money by changing our view or opinion about something or someone. Whenever we do not change our perspective, they can not reasonably state a benefit for the company paying them for whatever. So to them is not important where my current position is. But they already know, that they want to gain money through changing my perspectives in one way or the other. These companies have hundreds when not thousands of psychologists, programmers to improve their program. When you would have to say, if you belief that in the future a human will win in chess against the most advanced computer, what would be your answer? After answering the question above, how likely you think it is that you win the psychological battle against the algorithms of Instagram or Ticktock? So when you would come to the conclusion that you are not able to win this battle in any future. Is it reasonable to keep engaging with those algorythms at all?

Wow this describes commercial social media and the influence on us individuals. And since those programs have more intelligence behind them than every single one of us, there is no way to use them and stay on top of it.
