#daoist #voluntarist #anarchist #humanist #social #political #conversations #nonviolence How to learn my philosophy: Start with some critical thinking on youtube with "TEDed the deomon of reason" miniseries Start with Immanuel Kants techings, follow stoics, also very nice to read "happy" by Derren Brown, add dao techings to it Follow this up by Podcasts like Darknet diaries and Jon Harbinger On Youtube watch TEDx talks, Veritassium and Huberman Lab Chronically offended by The Beave 😎
GM Nostr Recently I got to know the apps loupe (for iOS) and AndroWatch (for Android). Both apps display, what datapoints installed apps can see with and without permissions. I run #GrapheneOS and tested AndroWatch therefore. And I learned, that every app can see a persistent ID, which can even survive factory resets (Widevine device ID). So it is one ID, every installed app can read, there is no toggle to restrict this. Not even on GrapheneOS. And this ID never changes on the same Device. So the only solution to not be tracked by a variety of apps is to use WebApps. Those allow the use of webservices through a polished Browserinterface. So it renders something in between a Browser and an App. But has none of these permissions to read device information.
Thank you both for this incredible insight. Such strong arguments towards a free society. I think the free society also highly correlates with the book, "Why nations fail". A book, that expresses the importance of inclusive institutions. And FOSS-software and open protocols are the most inclusive institutions I am aware of. When someone knows some good selfenforcing truth to print stickers of I would highly appreciate it. I am not sure if my idea is clear. I mean kind of eternal truth, that are attractive enough to keep people who read it thinking. Like a very strong grain that starts eroding unfree thoughts over time. Because while expressing my preference for Bitcoin, many people smile or express their unsatisfaction for the energy expenditures. And often it is har to figure out, where to start. Because some are already so sure in their dissatisfaction of Bitcoin, that I need ways to open their mind to new ideas again. Generally I feel many people are afraid to loose their current opinions. I will never understand this stupidity. But happy to see that there is always openminded people. People as honourable, they even trust their own conclusions. 🙌 View quoted note →
Really like this idea. I will follow your example. I am mostly intrested in digital truecrime, legal truecriem, philosophy, politics and digital rights image Besides Podcasts I read through the following feeds: image View quoted note →
#asknostr #privacy #surveillance #surveillancecapitalism #politics #savety Do people know about public or private forums and chats, where people organize against mass surveillance? It seems in many western countries, mass surveillance is getting more popular. Same old 1984 tactics. Populists, which paint a very malicious enemy to protect from and therefor it is best to surveil all of us... I am just thinking that these surveillance institutions might just are inherently incompatible with democratic societies. And since a few days I am afraid, that the owner of those new big datacenters are not running into a market bubble. But rather see their revenue in selling our profiles. Our most private Data mapped to a persistent Profile. And whoever buys such a persistent profile can hold this person hostage in whatever way. So I really think it could be one of the last times in Humanity, where we can come together and organize a Group of people that know how to be unseen by these surveillance grids. And attack them in ways that actually challenge them. Be it through political, law requests, doxxing of conspirators of surveillance, mapping the infrastructure, hosting independent relays and servers, document best practices for new people to learn how to fly under the radar. And last but not least by educating fundamental human rights. I really think that open protocols like Nostr and Bitcoin are a huge step in this fight. Since they allow us to organize without getting separated and without feeding in to the surveillance platforms neither.
This is really crazy stuff. I feel so sorry for those who live in such a place. And angry for those who build this surveillance infrastructure. These surveillence builders think the world is theirs. And when we do want to stop it, Id o not know if there will be a way without violent destruction of these installations. View quoted note →
