New Plebchain Radio is live ⚡️☀️⛏️ I sat down with @Kent Halliburton of @Sazmining for a wide-ranging conversation that starts with solar sovereignty and ends with a much bigger question: What would it take to build Bitcoin culture on a thousand-year time horizon? We get into: – Kent’s path from the solar industry into Saz Mining – why solar still matters for real energy sovereignty, especially as batteries get cheaper – Peru, Paraguay, circular economies, and what Bitcoin adoption actually looks like on the ground in South America – the risk of becoming “ledger squatters” instead of builders of enduring institutions This one moves from energy to culture, from hashpower to history.

GM The @Bugle.News #40HPW🎧 ‘s Maxi Madness is the first nostr project to make money. There’s a lesson there for all of us: freedom tech and sovereignty are overrated. Focus on the things that matter. Sex, drugs, and rock n roll

Sunday Brunch #11 is live ☕️🎬🎶 This week I’m joined by Buttercup Roberts for a music-first, no-script hang where the house rule stays sacred: 90% of sats streamed during songs goes straight to the artist. We talk: – finding music through deep dives on WaveLake + Nostr – why direct zaps create a real connection between listener and artist – her film/storytelling background and the difference between movies and “content” – The Bridge: using comics + visual storytelling to make privacy, censorship, and digital freedom more human – Bitcoin for the Arts and why the goal isn’t just “Bitcoin art,” but culture that carries the ethos

Having written one full fiction book and ~70% of another in the past 1.5 years of the “reasoning” AI era, one thing is abundantly clear to me: AI is dreadful, cringe even, at writing creative fiction even with the most elaborate prompts – I haven’t used a shred of what it’s given me. That includes Opus 4.6. However it is exceptionally good (and getting better, especially Opus) at editing – developmental, line, and copy. This has been invaluable for me in the writing process.

Sunday Brunch Ep 9 is live ☕️🎶⚡️ This week’s guest-DJ is Budtender from @Hash Power Music , and it’s a proper “coffee + record player” decompression session with the house rule intact: 90% of sats streamed during songs goes straight to the artist. We talk: the Nostr serendipity chain that pulled him from “silent Bitcoiner” into music onboarding Hash Power Music’s vision: keep what worked from labels, ditch the predator incentives, let artists stay sovereign a Brunch-worthy playlist with everything from stadium-sized rock to dark cinematic vibes and a big plug for South by Worldwide: a Bitcoin/Nostr, Lightning-enabled music festival running alongside SXSW where zaps/boosts route live as acts change

New @Plebchain Radio 🎙️ episode is live 🌀⚡️ Today’s episode is with @sourcenode , and it’s a pattern-walk back to the center. We start with a sermon on weaponized escapism: the system doesn’t just sell distractions, it aims to keep you numb, looping, and harvestable. The real exit is constructive escapism: retreat into craft, build tools, make art, write code, and turn flight into creation. Then Sourcenode and I get into: • why Nostr feels different in the nervous system than legacy platforms (and why clout is a golden handcuff) • “fiat” as something deeper than currency: unwinding psychological and social layers • Bitcoin as trust-minimized, not magically trustless (the social layer matters) • the risk of financialization turning money into “asset-only” • practical onramps: helping businesses adopt Bitcoin and build real vendor networks If you like conversations that trace the mandala back to the source node, press play.

New Plebchain Radio is live 🦅⚡️ This one’s with @RedTailHawk , and it’s a deep ride through the outer ledger and the inner one. We cover: – why Bitcoin can’t fix the operator (and what it means to “audit the inner ledger”) – a 2008-era origin story: austerity, homelessness, rebuilding, and the rabbit hole into sound money – “golden rule orange-pilling”: qualify the lead, learn their worldview, tailor the frame – canon vs code, authority vs truth, and skepticism toward fiat-like belief structures – kundalini/perennial philosophy threads, “Language of the Birds,” and a Bentov/Schumann/theta-state detour If you like your Bitcoin conversations with equal parts grit, empathy, and metaphysics, press play.
