I find the need to answer people being an ass or responding with stupid, insulting comments on Twitter has plummeted in recent months. I still do engage a bit, but I used to feel this *urge* to answer the most hateful or stupid crap. But it’s now just a passing fancy. Interesting what happens when you lose your sense of value for the platform. It just feels like engaging with noise over there. 🤔

You might be a Bitcoiner if: The first 3 times you heard the line, “if you’re 5 foot 3 and you’re 300 pounds, taxes ought not to pay for your bag of fudge round,” you 100% thought he was talking about the head of the BIS… Until you realized that literally nobody except Bitcoiners knows who that is 🤣 image

Socialism sounds good because it is posited as a system where people share more. But what socialism actually is, is Peter forcing Paul at the barrel of a gun to share according to how Peter thinks he should. You cannot have “forced sharing,” it’s a direct contradiction. The only reason sharing is good is because it’s a choice. The worst parts of us always seem to hide behind niceties.

Been talking about this in reference to Ai for a while. All services online will have to do this. KYC isn't just something that they will want for control, it will be a necessity for centralized services to manage fraud, deal with bots, etc. The problem is, the bots are going to get better than the users. And the barriers will have to get bigger and bigger, and reversible credit payments on a pull system is likely to be an ever worsening cost for the service too. A perfect example: How much do you hate captchas now? How many times do you have to do them to get it right? Well guess what, it takes only a couple of hours to train an Ai to do it better than basically anyone. Now imagine you have to do a captcha, also pay for the service now, and take a selfie with your ID... does that sound like a good UX? I think this is partly why they want to integrate payments. It hides a flaw inside what seems like a new feature. KYC is a dying system that is going to get *way* worse before its fully recognized as dead, imo. @note1xh8ayjzzdplpyxlmyfvax3jjeet32dewltygmeec8z5gl8682cyql6hf6x

So apparently I purchased incompatible RAM for a SECOND time. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️ After going through the manufacturers extensive list, it turns out that the first model below will work, but the second will not..... CMT64GX5M2B5600C40 CMK64GX5M2B5600C40 But there are a plathora of models that start with "CMK..." that are compatible, even with the same speed and the same capacity and XMP support... and I have no idea what that K stands for, but there isn't a single other thing is all the specs that is any different... except for that one f*ckng "K" Man, my relationship with computers is a real special kind of love/hate
