Probably have close to 10,000 hours of watching bitcoin candles. Likely a negative (WTF are you doing with your life) but still some kind of knowledge. Endless horse races are not healthy tho.

hits event. 100,000 sats per ticket - no problem. V4V.
I would love to see the OG miners on Nostr. I think they’d enjoy sharing stories of their shenanigans in the early days and most people here would enjoy the narratives.
Paraphrasing the best thing I read on X today - “the only reason people are so annoyed and bearish right now is because something they bought is down a lot, and that isn’t spot bitcoin” 💯
At this point it’s hard to trust the incentives of someone on X but not Nostr. Obviously exceptions granted but ultimately probably a good rule of thumb.
Personal echo chamber theory.
The scarcer the availability of coins the more “concessions” will be made to acquire. BIS grading schemes, capital gains, they are a short term phenomenon.
People will be begging to get access to coins eventually and will act accordingly.
There’s a mining mafia group on X that requires 3 recommendations to be allowed to join. WTF?
How is this a good idea?
Another personal theory about cultural waves. Gen Z seem more aligned with X. 30 years or so between the generations. Next huge wave of bitcoiners that hits happens in 2035 or 2040.
I’ve was in an Uber 6 month ago and they had heard of Nostr but also they were tracking M2 but still…
Been checking out X after a long hiatus. There only seem to be two topics - knots & treasury companies. There’s some fun stuff around the edges like off grid bitaxe stuff but pretty much inferior to Nostr notes content and diversity.
A bitaxe is an apex home miner because the heat and noise output is negligible.
Last week I said there was a pump incoming, then yesterday I thought we’d dip to 112k. This is why I don’t trade - I’m always wrong.
112 then buy
Bitcoin marketing challenge. Think of a tag line that grabs attention.
Ok here’s my effort.
“The solution to your problem might be Bitcoin, take a second look”
One thing I don’t understand is if Nostr is transient or semi permanent or permanent. Theoretically permanent but only if there are nodes out there storing every note.
Is Nostr a database? Don’t think so.
Only 2.5 years of the shakeout cycle left.
This is an @ODELL original thought I think. To attack Bitcoin make number go up as a distraction while attacking sovereignty and access. Assess.
Paraphrasing @Mandrik “the thing that unites bitcoiner’s is that we don’t like being told what to do” 💯
