My favorite "conspiracy" recently is around the gifted and talented program some of us were in during elementary school. Did you get the pink drink? Did you listen to the gateway experience on giant headphones? Did you play the beep boop game to guess what happens next? Did you play the Zener cards or make pictures out of abstract blocks? As an adult do you notice you have stronger than usual intuition? Do you have extremely vivid dreams that are sometimes prophetic? Can you hear the click clicks? Do you still have imaginary friends? I had a dream that me and a friend found two women chained to a wall. I sent my friend to get help but I stayed with them.
"If only I could get these shackles off!" I was saying to myself because I was scared being there. But then I remembered: I can bend metal!
So I set about trying to meditate then raising my emotional levels to that state of childlike joy needed to bend the spoons. It was hard because the women were skeptical and also I kept getting an intrusive thought. It was like a jump scare of some old Hollywood vampire, but it was only in my minds eye.
We were all scared the perpetrator would return before my friend came back with help and before I could free them. I successfully bent the metal and freed one lady's hand, she couldn't believe it but got super excited and started begging me to do the other. It was easier now that they believed in me too, but I woke up before I could finish

Welp the sun set so I think I might just go to bed now. I earned my star for the day despite the triflingness of life. I'll try again tomorrow 🤷♀️ Consciousness is overrated.
If I went to a cafe and got a pastry and a latte, I'd feel like I had a pretty normal lil breakfast treat. 🥐☕
Yet if I stay home and drink black coffee with leftover Christmas cookies I feel like a hedonistic blasphemer ☠️🍪☠️
I know how to make quality pastries, and I think it's a reasonable assumption that the pastry has more fats and sugar in it than my cookies. Certainly my coffee is the healthier option. So why do I feel so guilty?
Maybe my New Year's resolution is to avoid having cookies for breakfast. That seems achievable. 🤔🍪🤔

#asknostr a few weeks ago someone posted an edit of the Shoebody Bop with a user complaining and then the devs working with the admins to resurrect a server. Something like that, like it was modded to show the Nostr experience. It was funny as hell but now I can't find it. Anyone know what I'm talking about and care to share?
