My first image post was the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. After I finished taking the shots of the building, I turned 180 degrees and took a single shot of the park behind. Melbourne has some beautiful urban environments! #Melbourne #Carlton Gardens #photography image

Melbourne might not have the natural visual beauty of other cities, and it may not have iconic architecture. But it sure does have one of the best laneway/coffee cultures in the world!! You'll find many hidden gems like this one around the city if you explore enough. And the coffee is world class!! #Melbourne #coffee #laneway image

image 'Cow Up Tree' by John Kelly. Produced in 2000 and can be found in Docklands, Melbourne. While seemingly whimsical, the artist was inspired by livestock that were swept away by flooding. When the water subsided, a carcass of one cow was found stranded high and dry in a tree.

image I mentioned the Bird's Nest stadium in my last post. Here it is, the Beijing National Stadium, by Herzog & de Meuron. Olympic Green is a great place for photography, aside from the people selling laser pointers that kept shining them in my eyes and at my camera! I actually wish I had more time there to get a few different angles of the stadium. #photography #architecture #herzog&demeuron #beijingnationalstadium

image It's not entirely architecture focused, but Melbourne has been getting a bad reputation lately. We need some positivity and a reminder that the region truly is beautiful! Nothing like a still morning from the Geelong waterfront! #Photography #Geelong
