21/04/2025 Last day of the big family holiday. It’s been a nice holiday away but I still wish the family members I’ve introduced Bitcoin to, were more serious. I suppose it just takes time, but I definitely feel like I’m sort of on my own with this frame of thinking. I don’t want to be traditional. Traditional: Save in the bank Buy a house Pay off house Get a loan for a nice car Retire and hope you have enough to enjoy life at age 65

The US dollar is buying less and less overtime through the action of money printing. This number is truly closer to 7-12% rather than the 2-3% inflation rate the government tries to convince to the citizens. Now I live in Australia 🇦🇺, our dollar is now $1.60 to the US… it was $1.30 in 2020. So we are printing even more than the US. Australia’s money supply has increased 40-50% in less than 5 years … you’ve lost that amount of purchasing power here in Australia. It’s time to buy some BITCOIN @Maple Bitcoin @Jor @Rajat Soni, CFA @ForrestHODL

What a bounce back. That’s crazy. Back to $80,000 after being below $75,000. People are on the edge of their seats every time trump has an announcement. Crazy how emotional people are.

09/04/2025 - big day for me. I’ve officially left the altcoin world behind me . I didn’t have much, but was still holding onto my old holdings from 2021. It feels free. #stacksats #satoshis

1 of my older brothers refuses to buy bitcoin even though he was the one interested in it around 2015-2017 I think part of the reason he avoids it is regret and would rather stay as far away from it as possible now. But today I was thinking on how I could get him involved again even with $20 or $30. As I was thinking about it , I found $20 cash in the grass while mowing on the highway. I figured I’d give him a call tonight and propose an idea that if he signs up to an exchange to buy some bitcoin, I’ll send him the $20 to start . Even if he doesn’t buy anymore for a year, at least he can watch that $20 appreciate in price . My next step will send him bitcoin over lightning through strike if he gets interested. Yes I could take the $20 for myself and stack more SATS. But if $20 gets my brother even slightly interested, it will be worth it. #stacksats #bitcoingenerations

I watched BTC drop from $135,000 AUD to $125,000 AUD yesterday. It’s now $132,500 AUD today. Did you buy the cheeky dip? Or did the fear get to you.

“If everything crashes like 2008, I’ll chuck $100,000 into stocks cause I know they will recover” - my mates dad. Oh brother … that actually makes me so sad. Will these people even consider BTC ? Like there is no scarcity in the stock market, it probably should crash because there’s such an artificial premium on stock prices. It’s entirely held up on the printed dollar, not true value. Bitcoin is truely scarce no matter price, it’s the only asset that has recovered that many times after an 80% drop. It always bounces back regardless of the damage, and it comes back stronger. When will people see that bitcoin is actually the least risky asset to hold long term. Crazy.

Getting my dad into BTC but it’s hard being at completely different stages of life. He’s getting ready to retire and he wants to buy things like a caravan and a new car to travel with mum. He’s not really looking to lock his money up for 5-10 years. So I’m trying to find a balance for him that doesn’t affect what he wants to do but still looks some BTC away in cold storage just to have some skin in the game. Whereas I’m trying to lock all my money up for the future to put off the now and enjoy the future. Putting in the hard work now in hope it pays off long term. I’ve got time on my hands at 21 years of age.

My neighbour bought 0.5 bitcoin years ago before it ran up to $60k USD. He had bought it just to make some quick money but didn’t cash out at the top. So when it started to drop he sold and used the money on his house. He now thinks he got played/scammed from BTC but if he actually just held BTC he could’ve been holding something priced at $100k + recently and now $80k . Imagine if he just held as well as accumulating BTC , I genuinely believe he could’ve quite easily had a whole coin but he doesn’t have the conviction to hold or the understanding on why it will go up forever . I’ve now been stacking BTC pretty hard for 6 months and I’ve still got no where near 0.5 BTC . But I think I will always have more BTC than my neighbour at this point unless he opens his mind again to start stacking from 0. I think that is one of the most common stories you’d head in bitcoin. #sats #btc

If bitcoin went to $1 million this year, I would not sell my holdings. Imagine where it’s heading after that, even if it did drop significantly after . Even an 80% drop to $200k . I feel like 5-10 million a coin would be only 4 years away after a drop like that. The floodgates would be open. Just a thought 💭 1 million a coin = 1 cent per SAT

I remember when I saw Bitcoin for about $18,000 USD. I actually had about $12,000 in savings. At the time I was looking for a car to buy as well as buying altcoins instead , thinking I could accumulate them for the next bullrun. I ended up spending the $12,000 on a Hilux thinking I’d use it heaps for 4WD trips and camping etc . Yes I’ve loved the car … but man now looking at bitcoin priced at $80,000 shocks me. So much price appreciation in a bit over 2 years … and I’ll never be able to get that amount of Bitcoin even with an increase of annual salary. And the altcoins I held through the bear market… never recovered. Bitcoin also dropped even lower to about $15k just after me buying the car. As of today’s price that’s about a 5x. REGRET- yes I have some. But man I did not have the conviction to buy and Hodl like I do now. I’ve learnt so much getting wrecked by altcoins and thinking I can time the market. Not understanding that it’s not too expensive to buy Bitcoin, you can buy a small percentage through (SATS) . Yesterday was the time to buy bitcoin. But you can get some today. I’ve been humbled … #stacksats #sats #bitcoin

My dad has agreed to accept SATS when I pay him back money I owe. I don’t often owe him, but when I do it’s a cheeky way for him to grow his BTC holdings. Easiest way I’ve done this in Australia is through strike @jack mallers We are both looking into cold storage once we accumulate a large holding.

How do you guys attempt to bring your partner into the Bitcoin world? My wife says she trusts me with BTC and our combined money. But I’ve tried to illustrate she needs to have some level of understanding so when BTC does have a massive drop and it feels like our net worth disappears, she’s ready for it and understands where this thing is headed. Any ideas ?? Thanks .

Bitcoin has been functioning the same since it’s inception in 2009. Nothing has changed… Bitcoin does not need ETF’s, companies or countries. They benefit from bitcoin, bitcoin doesn’t benefit from them. We benefit from bitcoin due to its unchanging attributes. Fixed supply and a decentralised protocol. Adopt bitcoin and opt out of the fiat system rigged against us. Robbing us of our time and energy through inflation. #stacksats

Imagine being able to lock up true VALUE into the future. Oh wait .. bitcoin exists. You can withdraw from exchanges and wallets into cold storage. This is pulling true value out of the system and market into a digital safe without an impossible lock to crack. Carrying value into the future… Now try doing that with fiat currency, if I buried $10,000 today in the back yard or locked it up in a safe. It’s worth significantly less 12 months later, then 10 years even less and the trend continues. Now lock up BTC in cold storage using a device like the cold card, passport or blockstream jade. What will that be able to buy you in 5-10 years? @Maple Bitcoin @Jor @Rajat Soni, CFA @ODELL @jack mallers

I’m thinking about setting up a little BITCOIN fund for my future kids. Allocating a very small percentage of my payslip into bitcoin and then to the fund. Imagine $5 or $10 a week into the fund for him/her to receive access at 18 years old. Crazy ! My parents did a similar thing for me growing up but in fiat…and I can tell you it was an absolute blessing but it’s purchasing power had taken a dramatic hit in the 18 years of growing the account. It will be my kids that get to experience I world of BTC and away from the fiat system.
