At Bogota Airport and the joys of not being whacked in the eye by the lid every time I take a sip are indescribable.

We celebrate lavish weddings. We celebrate ‘having’ a baby - extravagant gender reveals. Opulent baby showers. But we don’t celebrate the proof of work that’s required to maintain a healthy, fulfilling, loving partnership or the proof of work required to raise healthy, well-adjusted, well-loved children from birth to maturity. We might be a better society if we did.
