In India a lot of households have solar, though its sucky-solar since most of it is on-grid and excess produced is given back to electiricity companies, it does save a lot on the electricity cost, and the setup is subsidized. Would have hoped to see more off-grid, but its cool how a lot of the electricity is now produced in the household itself.
