I have a question. Is the mission to produce bitcoin consumers or bitcoin bankers? I.E. no counterparty risk to my bank whatsoever. Meaning finding an old computer at a thrift store. Buying a new 4T drive. And maxing out that computers Ram. Then only using is computer to have a Linux / bitcoin core application. I am my banks IT guy. I’ve learned from BTC Session, Ministry of nodes and 402. But I cannot find a step by step video on when the core has a problem. e.g. reindex chainstate. Is there anything out there? Thanks.

One’s assumptions (beliefs) manages one’s life. The truest open mind is one the questions all of one’s assumptions.

Governance is management. Not special interests. My hope is that with sound money comes sound governance. That’s not anarchy it’s Bitcoin hope.

I believe in self custody but I also believe that banks should hold my bitcoin. I am a huge fan of cash app. My main concern would be how they would use my bitcoin. Hence I believe in self custody. I believe that government is far too big and need to shrink. 45% of the workforce are governmental jobs. Ouch. But to live in an anarchy is not ideal. We tried it. It was called the Wild West.

Control or anarchy, that is the question.
