In line at Costco I overheard the person two people being me telling the person behind me the origin of the term “goodbye”. It comes from “God be with ye” he said, and also the Spanish way to say it, “adios” translates to “to God”, so the meaning is multilingual in a way. Wish I could’ve zapped him for that heady info.

I hope that BTC enables individuals and families to be able to opt out of UBI and therefore be able to retain what others must give up in exchange for it (privacy, property, choice). I believe it will enable the empowered individual to be able to say “I don’t need you” to the State.
