What we need is a digital ID system that uses biometric verification, such as iris, fingerprint, and palm scans, that remains fully controlled by the individual. This system could be integrated with election voting systems and Bitcoin-based payment platforms. China has implemented similar tech but in their case, the data is centrally stored and managed by the state, which isn't compatible in Western societies because it's dangerous for the government to have our data.

I didn't even know the Whitehouse had live streaming on their website. I've never watched any of their live streams. I researched it and they just use YouTube as the streaming source. Do you think they will move to nostr someday? Yes, but not anytime soon because managing the nsec is the biggest problem for companies/governments right now and also comment moderation doesn't really yet on nostr. They would probably have to run their own relay. Lots to do on nostr if you want to be self-sovereign.
