live streaming is not for everyone. You need to have a passion for it. I think even if nostr had way more users. Streamers will still come and go as they do in other platforms because after trying it out for a while people realize live streaming is not for them. I think live streaming is exhausting. Thailand has this annoying country wide festival called Songkran where people randomly spray you with water.
