Just as I suspected months ago that in Canada, another Conservative politician would jump ship over to the Liberal side. That means Carney has to convince/bribe one more politician to jump ship to his side so he can get a full majority government.
That will allow him to quickly pass laws without giving the other side any real power to block or change them.

There seems to be a lot of fools out there who think they will make lots of money by uploading shorts on rumble,
I see them now complaining that they worked so hard, got many views, and didnt make any money.
Where are they getting this idea that they can make a living off it?
In conclusion, nostr has to implement some sort of friend/follow request, private profiles if it wants to dominate the world, if not people will come and leave once they realize random people can comment on their marriage photos and make fun of their big nose.
facebook is full of a majority of people who want network with friends, family, coworkers, and not be influencers.
X is is full of a majority of people who want to be be an influencer and crave attention.
That's why Facebook is winning by a long shot, and X is so bad for people's mental health.
almost nobody I know in real life uses x that's because it's bad for our mental health, it's so chaotic, full of trash and bots.
Facebook on the other hand allows us to keep our profiles private, so you end up with family, friends, coworkers, who you know are 100% real people. It's more relaxing and enjoyable to use facebook.
I can't recommend nostr to real people who use facebook because as soon as they make a note, you get all kinds of random people commenting on the note and there's no way to limit commenting and close your profile to only your friends since there isn't a friend/follow request system like facebook.
People who use X on the other hand, won't mind nostr, unfortunately almost nobody uses X in Canada. Majority of people use facebook.

Streaming is not meant to be a profitable business in the fiat system we live in. Twitch simply stays alive because Amazon with their unlimited fiat money keeps it going to keep a monopoly.

I didn't buy a vip membership because even before the current censorship, people got banned talking about other topics. Basically there isn't many things you are allowed to talk about.
