I downloaded an extension called alby Bitcoin wallet for lightning and nostr. It seems pretty good so far it allows .e to zap on websites and seems more secure than adding your NWC details into the website itself.

For over a decade, X22 Report has been promoting gold and silver while repeatedly predicting that gold would eventually skyrocket and that we would return to the gold standard. It turns out that X22 Report underestimated the plan. The Patritos knew that a gold standard does not work and that the narrative that gold has been used as money for thousands of years was a lie. The Patriots therefore needed to create a new monetary system because gold is relatively abundant throughout the world. Gold will still be needed for manufacturing and other purposes, which will send gold to around $10 an ounce. The bankers have been hiding this truth from the public. Stablecoins are garbage and essentially fiat trash, but they are necessary because the US needs to maintain control over the monetary system while it battles the Deep State. The only bad thing about the Nostr . com and Nostrich . org websites is that they lack distinct branding. Nostr is a protocol, and “nostrich” is a term used to describe Nostr users. So when you’re talking about either website, it can get confusing. If you say “Nostr,” people think you mean the protocol. If you say “Nostrich,” people think you mean Nostr users in general. You basically always have to say “Nostr . com” or “Nostrich . org” to make it clear that you’re talking about the websites. It reminds me of Crypto . com. Terrible branding. A brand should have a distinct name that people can immediately associate with the website or product.

The Facebook system is still better than the Nostr system. The only good thing about nostr is the decentralized system.

I've asked LFL to implement a facebook style friend request system where you won't be able to interact with anyone unless they accept you as friends. They told me they will work on implementing this system. Once it's implemented I will move to using LFL full-time as my nostr web client and leave amethyst and most other clients and web clients because all the clients are too much like X, full of spam and all your clients are trash. Everyone is basically creating X but worse.

the nostr wine relay popup on amethyst is so annoying. That's the main reason I have never paid for that relay. I just added it in block list of relay. This is the biggest complaints about amethyst is that they keep forcing relays on its users and they keep pulling notes from hundreds of relays. Unfortunately there isn't any other android clients that are as good as amethyst.

Is there any websites that are dedicated to voice rooms? Kind-53 I can't find any, other than nostr nests but nostr nests seems to be a dead project and I found corny chat but i'm not sure exactly what website is. It has a terrible UI. I want to see if any of them will pick up my LFL voice room. It seems not many people are working on voice rooms. is it because Bitcoiners like to hide? don't want anyone listening to their real voices? hmm.. 🤔

Wow! I’m so excited that my LFL instance now has its own voice room! One of the best things about having a voice room on my own domain is having control over my own space. I’ve used apps like HelloTalk, which is Chinese, and Tandem, which is German. They also have voice rooms, but there’s way too much censorship. You can’t talk about politics, religion, and many other topics. It feels like there’s always a list of things you’re not allowed to discuss. Eventually, apps like that either ban people or drive them away. Now I have my own voice room, on my own domain, where I decide the rules and what conversations are allowed. And if you run your own LFL instance, you can do the same! Voice rooms are one thing I think Nostr is still missing. There has been some work on them, but they’re still fairly new and not widely supported by Nostr clients and apps. I’m going to look into getting clients to detect and join LFL voice rooms, because I think this could become an awesome part of Nostr. Voice rooms are such a great way to meet people, make friends, and have real conversations instead of just posting back and forth. And if you want a voice room on your own domain, download LFL and run your own instance! See you next time in my voice room!

Why does amethyst and so many clients use the word "verified" in nip-05. It makes no sense. What are you verified with? Who verified you? The truth is you all brought the twitter culture over to nostr. The verified badge is twitters/x culture. What's more, is why so many clients insist on adding the nip-05 address in the feeds. No one cares that you have a nip-05. I don't need to see everyone's nip-05 address. It's actually useless for it to be in the feeds all the time.

On amethyst if you go to Setting-> Relays- Scroll down to almost the bottom. Where it says "Connected Relays" There is about 300 relays on mine. I suspect this is why spam is getting through to those who are using amethyst. Amethyst is connecting to hundreds of these relays. Why is amethyst connecting to these relays? The user never asked to be connected to them. We should speak about this issue because its loss of control for the user. I already have about 7 relays in my Public Inbox. I don't need hundreds that allow spam to run on their relays.
