Guess what? I tried to call in sick to work today because it's snowing and I don't have a ride to work but my mom said that's not a good enough reason and that I can walk to work because it's not far according to her. So now, I need to walk in the snow. Can you believe that?!

Nostrich is NosTwitter. They've openly said they want to become a public company someday, and there's big money backing the project. That alone makes me question where they're heading. We all know what happens when big corporate money gets involved. Everything becomes about profits, collecting user data, keeping investors happy, and eventually controlling what people see. I wouldn't be surprised if NosTwitter ends up going down the exact same road as Twitter, where the people with the most money get the most influence. I actually liked Nostrich when it first came out, but now it looks exactly like Twitter. It's ugly. Where's the creativity? Did they hire a bunch of ex-Twitter developers or something? I need to find a way to get rich so I can finally move out of my parent's house. Then I'll let them move in with me, just so I can say, "NO, MOM! YOU take out the garbage!" 😂

I checked my Backblaze account, and I've only used about 100 MB of storage from all my uploads over the past 6 months. As long as I don't upload videos, I probably won't go over the 10 GB free storage limit anytime soon. At my current rate of usage, I'm good for another 49.5 years! 😂

Slayer and I are in the same situation. We both would love to constantly post videos but because both of us are too poor to afford video hosting, we can't post videos. Backblaze gives me 10GB of free storage after that I have to pay. Once I reach 10GB I'm not sure what I will do. I tried hosting my own videos on a server but playback is too slow because you need some CDN stuff. But me and slayer have big plans this upcoming year.
