Just seen this reshaped. Quality work. Needs sharing elsewhere as well.

Formerly @PortsmouthBTC on The Dead Bird.
Used to do some stuff. Finally started doing stuff again.
Possibly the only Bitcoiner to have *actually* lost everything in a boating accident.

Turned up at the GP this morning. Got the date wrong. It's Monday 5th October. So, over a month to get an appointment.
Fuck it. I'll just have to up the pain killers. Not what I want, but they're leaving me little choice.
Now back to the boat. Get existing meds. Do repairs. Tell press to fuck off.
Sorted.
Happy Monday.
Last night was interesting. Checked on the boat this morning. Seems okay. Loads of police down there, including plain clothes, home office gimps, as well as a smashed up home office vehicle. Press down there too. They'll be told to fuck off if theyre still there later. What a shit show.

No way through and now they're forming another line, pushing people back up the road who, I assume got around when the tide went out. Lots and lots of people about. Lots of people bringing supplies.

Heading back, trying to get back to the boat. It's going off down there.
1) the single road area where the protest is happening. You're looking from the junction north in the closest videos.
2) the pontoon where the boats docked.
3) where my boat it. I'm concerned for its safety. Plus my medication is on there.

Forgive bad photography. Depicted is the last turning where there's more than one route in and out. Behind there are hundreds of people and behind them, are the police.

It's intensifying.
May even leave the phone at my mates, it's nearly dead anyway.

Tried to get through.
Never been at the front of a protest before, facing riot police.
They wouldn't let me through, without proving I own a boat down there.
Difficult with no signal. Nearest signal over a mile and a half away, there's so many there.
Slight tactical mistake by the police. They're hemmed in, there's a hundred yards and several hundred people between them and their nearest way out, unless they retreat on to boats, so for their sake and the protesters, I hope it doesn't kick off down there,
Another police car with sirens blaring just raced down there though, so I'm not holding out much hope.
Gonna tactically retreat, get my laptop somewhere safe, then get back to the area with some proof and hope I'm able to get through.

Just passed a guy on the phone;
"There's thousands of people down there"
Hmm.

Just about to head back to the yacht and this is the scene a little while ago on the only road in amd out of the area.
Large dinghy with 150 immigrants has just landed a couple of hundred yards from my boat. Locals refusing to let coaches through.
Gonna be an interesting evening.

Just been watching Aquaman 2.
It's a giant "muh climate emergency" public service announcement.
Already my least favourite of the comic book super heroes by a country mile. The first movie was utterly abysmal.
This is almost as bad as the Disney Princess Predator movie.
Fuck, that cost me a tenner. I bet for more than 7 this year. Where's all the stabby little bastards when you need them?

After several tough arduous hours sunbathing, I just visited the oldest and best shop in #Portsmouth - Gilbert's Sweet Shop, still run by the same family for over 100 years. Even survived the lock downs.
Of course, I had to make a purchase. Naturally.

Unbelievably I managed to get a few hours sunbathing in yesterday, before doing some work on the boat.
There's so much to do, so I got on with the easier tasks ๐
That's some insulation patched up and curtains repaired.
Now all that's left is repairing and finishing the rest of the curtains, repairing and patching up the rest of the insulation, replacing the broken deck board, wiring the turbine, new charge controller and solar in to the new battery, scraping the crap off the hull, then repairing the damaged fibreglass, sanding, painting/gel coating/anti fouling said hull, then on to the windows and getting them resealed after cleaning out the old stuff, then sealing every single deck fitting, then replacing the autobilge, then building an a frame, then dropping the master and repairing that damage, then repairing the electronics, then repairing the tiller.
So, not much to do.
Hope you're all having a nice relaxing start to the day ๐ฅณ๐โ๏ธ๐
