GM #nostr - today is the day I'm Batised 🙏 👍🥳☕️ Faith has always been there in my life...but...background. I turned my back on God when things got bad. I resented my various forms of suffering. But I never stopped believing, even when I felt no faith. An ex GF had faith, but she suffered, and I'd speak to the Lord and ask 'why? Why would you let one of your own worshippers suffer? What's the point of you?'. A couple of years ago I was on my yacht, relaxing, listening to YouTube and this song came on and I heard it and for the first time in a long long long time, I wept slightly. No idea why. Couldn't explain it. I think working for the church helped. Access to good people of faith helped. Eventually I returned to the fold. But this song started that process, I think.

All I want to do now is chill, but I've got to go to the fiat mine in a couple of hours amd I want to work on my new app for a bit before hand, so no point sitting around, I guess. Plenty of time to chill once I'm back on the boat after all.

GM #nostr This morning I thought to myself, fuck it, why stand apart from the crowd, I'm gonna go check out Wisp by @utxo the webmaster 🧑‍💻 since everyone is raving about how good it is. Unfobrtunately I'm having trouble with zapstore.

Been to the yacht, she's definitely rough and very battered 😢😂 To be expected, though. However, her new spot is easier to get to, so work which had been difficult to do will now be easier. However, so would doing mischief, should anyone feel inclined. Just as well I'll be there more now, to take care of her 🥳

Certainly getting my money's worth out of Claude this month. I've currently got it working on my new project; An overview: It's basically a decentralised ancestry type app, where families can keep their family tree and media info, privately, allowing importing data from various ancestry type sites, and sharing information with family branch members. It's being built on nostr, but nostr will be entirely invisible. There's not going to be any mention of it. However, it'll use relays and when an account is created those keypairs will be compatible with any nostr app. It's also going to utterly avoid kind 0 information. There'll be contacts, obviously, or how else would family members connect, but those contacts are goign to remain private. Hopefully I've got this right and it all works. I'm guessing another couple of days till there's a working test version available, then some refinement. Looking forward to testing this out with ym family, tbh. Several members have done research on several different sites. This'll help collate and secure that data under our control.

GM #nostr ☕️🌞🥳🙏 I'm going back to the boat for the first time since I injured my back today, I know it's going to be grim and there's going to be loads of cleaning and repairs to do but I really can't wait. I'm very fortunate to have friends who have put me up while I recover. I'm extremely grateful to those people.

Got an email to tell me my yacht is in place on her new mooring 🥳🌞😎🇬🇧 Just in time for the weather to get better too...now I just need to do a million and one jobs on here, coz she's knackered 😢😂

Just watching a program with Ross Kemp about my home town, #Portsmouth, more specifically, about the Mary Rose. I've grown up with the story but I'm still learning things I didnt know. I love that.

Only four more days till I'm Baptised and confirmed at the Cathedral. I'm really looking forward to this. Does make me wonder if I'd have made smarter choices if I'd turned back to the church sooner though.

Just had breakfast and going to take a wander along the beach now 😎 Then I'm getting back to plotting out this new project. It's way complex and without AI I'd never get it done, not gonna lie. As tools go, this is an amazing resource.
