4 hours on the beach ⛱️ Heading to town to help a mate. Regretting having mates.

Just seen a friend. She depends on her PC for home shopping, comms, entertainment, etc. She's gone to log in after switching it on and there's a message, saying her pin is corrupted, "click here to reset your pin". She clicks the button, Microsoft says "here's the last two digits of your phone number, tell us the last four digits to confirm it's you". They then say they're going to text her, so she can enter a code and choose a new PIN. But no text ever comes. Now, it sounds like a scam, it sounds like her PC has been corrupted and yet, it looks like it's genuine. And if it's genuine, then she's utterly reliant on Microsoft allowing her access to her PC, which she needs, at any given time. What an absurd situation.

Just tried signing in to Amethyst desktop with the Amber app on my phone. Pointless exercise.

It's graduation day (3) for students of the University of Portsmouth. Last year I was up in Bath, watching my daughter graduate. I love seeing all these youngsters out, with their families, enjoying the day, celebrating their loved ones success.

I saw my favourite white grey squirrel again today. He's very shy, but he's also one of two in #Portsmouth right now. This one is in Victoria park, the other one is in Kingston cemetery. They're kinda cool, but I do wonder why two distinct populations are throwing up the same genetic mutation at the same time. Environmental factor, perhaps?
