Big progress on the site this morning. Added a marketplace function, with a little twist I don't recall seeing on other clients yet. It's not quite complete - I have to add DM functionality first, then go back and complete the process. Hopefully it'll be mostly ready by Saturday though. I wonder, are there many clients still using nip04? I ask because I'm only integrating nip17 DMs and I don't think that it'll render nip04. #asknostr

Finally reached the point while #vibecoding this site that zaps are being implemented. Hopefully this goes smoothly. So far today, I've made hashtags clickable (bit obvious, I know, but it hadn't been done yet), I've added a working search feature, again, an obvious feature, fixed a problem I'd created, tidied up the UI a little, added reactions counts to posts...now, the zaps. It's teaching me a lot about just how much goes in to the modern social media experience and a genuine respect for people who do this sot of thing, properl, without AI, day in, day out.

I was just having a browse through the book of faces and the dead bird and I noted something - 90% of the content on the book of faces is now AI generated BS, from videos to posts. There's hardly a human creation left on there. That is so fucked up.

I liked the last one, Prey, and I liked this one. But... There's a underlying message in both movies that I don't think I like; Dishonour your family, absndon your traditions and you'll be a hero. A question; I'm connected to a small handful of relays on the site I'm building. Relay management will come later. I've incorporated follow packs in to the options, but for some reason, despite only ever being connected to the same relays, the range of follow packs and their usefulness, changes almost daily. Surely the same ones should all be getting pulled, every time? This makes it look like followpack event types are being heavily recycled on relays, which would be weird. #asknostr
