My sites hidden behind clodflare are currently off line. Plume.website is still up though. That's fortunate. But its also partially broken, so that's a shame. Ho hum. Stuff to get done.

Just tried and failed to log in to Claude.ai - apps booked and site says something about unblocking cloud flare. I arrive here and in seconds I learn that cloudflare is booked and multiple sites/services are down. Better for news than Twitter, this place.

Now that Amethyst has settled down a bit I'm quite enjoying these new updates. It really is a 'does everything' app. Bloody awesome 👌

This screenshot of plume.website neatly encapsulates what I'm going for with this client. Here you can see @BTCPhoto profile page, there's the normal posts/replies view, plus you can see the market place and photography tabs which only appear when you have appropriate content to display. Each tab shows exactly what you'd expect it to. There'll be more content types added soon. This site is still in its early stages, and there's a lot of missing features, but feel free to check it out.

- my own take on the ideal nostr client! Okay, its still gitchy AF, the next task is a bunch of fixes and loading optimisation, but the basics are there! If you check our the menu, there's a marketplace tab, and a photography tab. Each does what it says on the tin. The magic happens when you view a profile though - when you look at someone's profile, if they have marketplace listings and/or photography, then an appropriate button loads alongside the posts/replies tab, allowing you to see what that person has created. Eventually there'll be other content types added, and lists, so you can easily keep track of your favourite artists, merchants and content producers. If anyone wants to check it out, please feel free. Don't worry, I won't be offended if no one cares though, I really did build this to be *my* preferred client 😄 Hope you're all enjoying your Saturday 🫂

Having all sorts of fun with amethyst today. There's that and the way that events aren't loading properly. Then there's the data usage. I certainly haven't had 60 odd GB of output from the app. I barely get anything from it since the outbox updates. I thought it was my site which was hammering my data, but its not, by a big margin.

It's happened again 😂😂😂 This morning my follow count suddenly smashed all the way down from about 1965 people to 410. I fixed it, thanks to someone who posted a useful link. Now I've just opened Amethyst again and I'm down to 1152 follows. I'm going to stop all permissions for everything on Amber and Nos2X, coz something ain't right. I don't see how its happening either as I'm only using my site and Amethyst and while Amethyst hasn't displayed all content it should have today and my sites got its own glitches, I'm pretty sure neither of them are removing my follows.

The new site is not really ready to go live, I'll be honest there's a load of things I still want to do and a load more I really need to do. But, being as I mainly made it for me and for what I want from nostr, I won't worry too much. Hopefully when the backpain clears up a bit I'll be able to focus and complete these tasks. Main thing which marks it out is the profile feed - when I view a profile, I want to see all that someone does, marketplace items, photography, video, music, long form content - its all going to display in someone's profile. It'll make it easier for me to keep lists of people whose work I appreciate and I'll be able to see at a glance if they have new products/content that I haven't seen yet, alongside their standard feed.
