Yesterday I worked out that I need to unwise and remove my wind turbine, then drop a custom bracket in its place. All this so I can drop the mast, which is about 30ft. The mast needs repairs and the electrics need attending to. Then it's got to be hoisted back in place, once the repairs are done and the lines replaced. It'd be cheaper quicker and easier to sink her and buy a new yacht.

A few years ago I watched a thing about 'biohackers', people doing funky shit in their garages. A young girl replicated the experiment where bioluminescence genes were spliced into a bacteria.
