Just saw a post from a profile which hadn't loaded. Tried to zap them, zaps werent my default amount. Realised, Amethyst is defaulting to on chain zaps for accounts which havent loaded the LN address yet. Not sure that that's an ideal behavior, tbh. Also, when I tried to tag in @Right Said Fred their tag kept vanishing, the first time I tried to compost this message.

Gm #nostr - off to the fiat mines. Interesting conversation with the boss the other day. Part of the job involves community work. Not a problem. A few colleagues had been in situations where they didnt feel comfortable, so, under their duty of care, work brought a bunch of licences for an app which has a big red button to push in the event of emergency. Great. Works by GPS. Very clever. Can't see me ever needing it, but still, it's there. Other day the boss asks me to confirm some details for the app; no issue, till they wanted my personal phone number, my personal address and my personal email. They don't need that. So I said no. I was asked several times to hand over those details. They've got them, they could hand them over themselves, but they know they can't without my permission, which I'm refusing to give. It makes me stop and wonder, how often do people just hamd over their data to companies they don't know, with no thought to how that data will be used or secured. I don't think they're going to give me any grief over it - I mean, from a legal perspective, I'm not obligated, so technically, they can't. But they could start seeing me as a non compliant trouble maker and that could impact how I'm treated at other times, in theory. Funny old world.
