Just downloaded this to try it out , very promising, but no one on there yet that I could trade with and I'd want enough to ensure anonymity.

Possibly the only Bitcoiner to have *actually* lost everything in a boating accident.

Seen two videos of police behaviour here in the UK in the last 24 hours.
In video one, a man is dragged to the floor and punched, then the police charge in and slam him against a shop front. He reacts, assuming he's still under attack, by lashing out, then realises it's a copper.
In video two, two officers try to detain a man. In the "struggle", one of the coppers drops his extendable baton while trying to grab the man's leg. The chap manages to get the fallen baton, extends it, hits the cop grabbing his leg, twists around then smashes it over the face of the other copper who was trying to grapple him, sending him in a heap, straight to the floor. The man then moves towards the other copper, before jumping on his bike and making his getaway.
Both videos are utterly humiliating for a police service still under intense scrutiny for their abysmal handling of Henry Nowaks murder.
Something is desperately wrong with the UK, but talking about it can actually get you hounded by the cops, sidelined by employers and cut off from opportunity.
If it wasn't for my family, I wouldn't still be here.
I'm guessing most of our 'murican friends will be with family, celebrating, eating and drinking together rather than spending time talking to us lot today...
Just walked past a place advertising Chritsmas bookings.
In July.
Wankers.
Gotta be honest, while I do like the latest version of Amethyst, this randomly popping up as I'm scrolling, or worse, as I'm composing a note, is getting tiring.

Been contemplating what it might be like to get rid of the phone number and email address.
How much of a problem would it be? How much of a benefit?
Playing through scenarios and giving the idea more than just passing consideration.
Also contemplating ditching the smartphone entirely, though it is a useful device. That said, it can be run without a phone number and it doesn't have to be carried around, it could be left sitting on a desk like a computer probably should be.
Interesting result to the poll.
Social media users who think Facebook is free voted no, they wouldn't pay.
Maybe there needs to be even simpler deployment methods for personal relays than there already are?

Absolutely lush.
Sat here, at the Hotwalls in old #Portsmouth relaxing, listening to the sound of the water lapping against the shoreline.
There's a few people out fishing, an old boy is standing in his shorts, ankle deep, enjoying the sensation of the cool water. A few young people are out, getting the sun, a family just strolled by, baby in the pushchair, making the most of the day. A young goth/emo couple just wandered by and stopped by the waters edge.
Every different kind of person, all out sharing the same public space, each enjoying it in their own way. No one's rushing, no one is hurried, it's all just...
Chill.
