Do nostr DMs still just generally suck?

Has anyone built a ticketing system on Nostr yet? I'm sick of seeing these idiots push Blockchain-based ticketing projects and not having a concrete example to show why they don't need a Blockchain #asknostr

I wonder if Bitcoin gets more expensive Wednesday-Friday because of direct deposits? Would be nice if river or cash app would let you set your buy time.

Reason #1,563 that email and phone based sign ups are stupid in the age of private key cryptography: Today someone spammed Ring (the security company lol) with new sign up requests using emails from a data breach (including mine) using racist names so that the Ring system automatically sent emails to a huge list of people with a racist greeting. For fucks sake, just let me use my nsec to log-in.
