GM and Happy Easter!
Before Jesus, someone else was resurrected. Throughout history, our myths repeat...
"Inanna, Queen of Heaven, descends to the Underworld to face her sister Ereshkigal. At each of the seven gates, she surrenders a garment, a mark of power, a layer of identity, until she stands naked before death itself.
She dies there. Her body is hung on a hook in the darkness. Humiliation, trial, execution, crucifixion.
For three days and three nights, she is gone.
Then she comes back.
What would later become Easter is already here: death, descent, three days in darkness, resurrection. The pattern predates Christianity by more than two thousand years.
Her descent is also written in the sky. Inanna is Venus. Her seven gates mirror the days before Venus slips into inferior conjunction with the sun, disappearing from the evening sky.
The sky was the first scripture, and she was written into it.
Centuries later, the men who wrote the Bible gave Jesus her title. In Revelation 22:16, he is called the bright Morning Star.
She had that name first."
