Installed the first solar #meshtastic node at a farmer’s homestead. Still waiting for external antennas to arrive. But as it is (internal antenna), it is reaching a couple of miles easily and consistently. Next one is at the actual farmer’s market in OSJ.

The #meshtastic rabbit hole. These will be tested initially at the Old San Juan Farmers market with local farmers. We have two (maybe three) models to be tested. One of the radios is more energy efficient so that’s the one inside the solar box. The other is more of a “walkie talkie” kind of form factor.
