Mainly travelling to/from Austria, Italy and France. Secondarily, Germany, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. I am based in Austria, and my focus will be on long-distance travel, but I will offer all kinds of tips for local and regional trains, from ways to reduce prices to the most beautiful routes. 48xTc8MbEuCVkRbwGGo1PxP3XsJtvwAgFhtJ7ML6dobV9TTYeSxBnHNFNdqkLLR18kK5K1L5qxVgjRZHkGkVYrvaHDPozew

You know it's in Switzerland because of how clean the train is. 😂 (Andermatt train station)
The train No. 99 247 departing from Steinerne Renne train station, Germany. (Not my video) #trainstr
The Austrian CAT (City Airport Train) that connects Vienna's Airport to the city centre, launched an ad and will have a refresher next year. If you land in Vienna, it's a direct 16-minute trip to the city centre, with a train every 30 minutes, and you should definitely try it.
Just a heads up. On Wednesday, January 28, SNCF begins the sale for tickets with travel dates from March 30 to July 3. If you want to grab some cheap tickets, you might want to take a peek. 🚂 #trainstr
As I said yesterday, today I bring you Antibes as a travel destination, through pictures. I'll add as replies to this post.
I just saw this video with the TGV INOUI Paris - Monaco, from a few days ago, filmed in the Antibes train station. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll post a bunch of pictures from Antibes, as a teaser/suggestion for one of your future destinations. #trainstr

Next step, May, 1990 By reaching 515.3 km/h (320.2 mph), France officially broke the 500 km/h wall for the first time with a conventional train. TGV Atlantique, unit 325 View quoted note →
image From December, Italy and Germany will be linked by direct high-speed Frecciarossa trains, between Rome & Milan to Munich. It's possible because of a partnership between Trenitalia, Deutsche Bahn and Österreichische Bundesbahnen (because it has to pass through Austria). Milan <-> Munich ~6:30h Rome <-> Munich ~8:30h Future plans include extensions to Berlin and Naples by 2028, and there are discussions for Italy to Vienna too, but nothing concrete yet.
Exactly fifty years ago, on January 21, 1976, the Concorde made its first commercial flight. The Air France Concorde flew from Paris to Rio de Janeiro, via Dakar, while the British Airways Concorde flew from London to Bahrain. (Video: its last departure from JFK) image
There's something special about trains + snow + mountains. I crave Glühwein all of a sudden. 😂 (an SBB TWINDEXX IR200 train on the line from Sargans to St. Margrethen - not my vid, I'm just looking for inspiration)
This, some cheap chairs, and a bucket of wine or something. Train crossing between RJX 865 (Austrian) and ICE 118 (German) at the Flirsch train station (in the Austrian Alps) on the Arlberg Railway (on the Vienna to Zürich route).
Another random train for today, the Austrian "Weasel". It's a shuttle train for short distances, pictures and video from two different occasions. I really need a schnitzel emoji! 😂
You'll be more relaxed after this. Eisfelder-Talmühle train station, Harz Narrow Gauge Railways. (Credit to Olaf Berlig)
