It looks like the UK’s financial regulator will ban retail investors from using Bitcoin as collateral for a loan.
If they do this (decision due later this year) then I’ll probably have to start looking at where else to live.
The infantilisation of the public by the state is intensely frustrating
Currently managing assisted pull-ups with a 35kg weight.
I weigh approx 75kg, so I'm pulling up 40kgs.
Can anyone advise whether it's reasonable to aim for a fully unassisted pull up within the next year?
I've only started weight training in the last 6 months and pull up training last week. I don't want to push myself too close to injury but I want those gains.

Is there a word for being between ‘fiat slave’ and ‘retired’.
About being in a place where you can choose what you want to do each day, and you choose to work on fulfilling things rather than the cliche of retiring to potter about in a house waiting for death

Spent some Corn today to upgrade my life. Now the stacking goal is to replace that Corn.
Hope the price doesn’t absolutely rip over the next year or so
I’m a simple man.
I want a slightly more roomy house for my family, and enough land to accommodate some beehives and and an archery range.
I look forward to posting the pictures of these for you all 💪
I’m also really concerned with the financial literacy of the public in the UK, especially those people complain about corporate price gouging.
It’s not only that people don’t understand money, they also will wilfully mis-read information and will not believe basic facts and evidence when presented with them.
I try to avoid just generalising about how the UK is turning into an Orwellian nightmare but’s it’s getting harder by the day
