We eat dinner as a family every day that we can. Early, late, cooking or take out. We set the table and wait until we’re all seated to start eating. We sit and we talk - even after we’re done eating. This is maybe my favorite thing in life. It is a large part of why I cook. And it is the entire reason that I do Beefsteaks.

I just saw a California roll on a menu for 32 dollars. things are getting stupid expensive so quickly and people are getting left behind. The thing that baffles me are people that have built wealth, but are not willing to leave it to their kids. To leave your offspring on the wrong side of that widening gap is a fucking travesty.
