Beefsteak CEO and stuff. Charming as heck. Relentlessly mid. You can and should ask me cooking questions.

I’ve been going down the poker rabbit hole recently as the WSOP is happening in Vegas. Poker has so many lessons. Imo the main one is that you simply CANT focus an outcome. Great decisions will loose, bad ones will win. Over time good decisions will always come out on top.

There is a scenario where cooking meat over fire is fun and just makes sense and that Beefsteak is a result of a quasi-accidental product market fit. It feels as tho some bitcoiners are stuck in the mindset of the era that bitcoin became important to them.

Mulling over the differences of Oslo vs. Vegas. In vegas a lot of talks lead you to check the price. Oslo talks remind me why I am a bitcoiner. I did not check the price at all while there. I am not in bitcoin to get rich. But what an amazing side effect that wealth could come from making the world a better place. Bitcoin is truly a rising tide.

My head and calendar have been unusually crowded over the last few months. The unintended side effect is that my heart gets crowded too, which skews my priorities in a direction i don’t like. I know what is important to me. But i sometimes forget to live with this intention.

There are markers for hope and doubt. Embrace both in moderation, but be weary anyone leaning too far in one direction.

100% of bands polled say it’s uncool to yell “free bird” at a performance which only makes me want to do it more.
