Beefsteak CEO and stuff. Charming as heck. Mid-brow. You can and should ask me cooking questions.

If you play video games, you know that - increasingly - the only difference between you and an NPC is that you know you’re in a game.

inevitably my dumbest posts get the most attention. Conclusion: I’m trying too hard. I will post more low brow shit moving forward.

Are we in a simulation that’s about to start a new simulation? Simulation Russian dolls. How could we possibly know? What would change if we did? image

Inflation has sucked hope out of younger generations. Bitcoin is hope. Higher inflation = Less reason to save, Less reason to work towards something. Less reason to improve. Less people having families. Less hope. I’m amazed at the number of young people with zero drive. Anything anti-inflationary will bring hope to a generation. Bitcoin is hope. Teach your kids about it. Raise optimists. Give them hope. The world is a beautiful place. image

High housing prices + high property taxes = the new dying america. I currently live in a mediocre part of the United States. Very Pretty, but not much going for it beyond that. Ok schools. Not much infra structure to speak of. The town is falling behind on general upkeep. Roads, bridges, etc. Etc. Businesses are closing. Commercial rents are high and no working class people can afford to live here. Precisely zero draw to any digital nomad. If someone were to buy $1 million house here, which would be a VERY low-mid house, and stay there for 40 years, they would pay over $1 million in property taxes. And for what? Roads and schools? The view? I love it here. But It’s a boring place to live. There’s no reason for people to move here. No reason to stay here. No easy fix. It is dying. America tends to die in sections. (Think rust belt. ) This place, and places like it, will have to go through some serious pain before Americans find it a desirable place to live long term. plan accordingly.

I occasionally come across a podcast that I luv, and wonder how it took so long to find it. Risk of Ruin is one example. image

Anyone can hold the greatest asset in history with zero ongoing fees or maintenance. It still blows my mind.
