I spent the last 48 hours with a vegan. She traveled 3 hours to visit us with her 6 yr old son. She wouldn’t let him eat any of our (vegan) food. Only food she brought. (i cooked vegan food for them which they didn’t touch. ) Food she brought wasn’t even special. Crackers, terra chips, dried fruit. etc. - shit food. It’s not a meme - they’re fucking insufferable.

In europe, separating the church and state was a long, slow, and sometimes violent process. Sounds like the separation of money and state may be as well. image

i love thanksgiving because so many people that never cook take to the kitchen. The only downside is that they don’t like turkey because they don’t know what fuck they’re doing.

It’s not daylight savings that’s fucked up. It’s time itself.

When I was 24, entering the world of business and freelance work. I got a piece of advice from a crazy guy that has served me well my entire life: NEVER say no to a job. Think of the number you would be happy to do it for, and ask for it. No matter how ridiculous it sounds. NEVER quit a job. Think about how to change it to be the job you want. Whatever that might be. More money. Time off. Focusing on what you like, eliminating what you don’t. Demand those things.

He said I’d astonished how often people say yes. He was right.

Americans should worry less about the freedoms that authoritarians will take by force and more about the freedoms they will simply forfeit in exchange for dopamine and convenience.
