Listened to the Bitcoin Today twatter space with Keonne Rodriguez on the Samourai Wallet case today. For me, everything boils down to the fact that the SDNY ignored FinCEN's ruling that Samourai was not a money transmitter. The fact that it did not end there tells me this was just more Biden-era lawfare against the Bitcoin slash crypto slash digital asset industry. You can tuck this in right next to the Operation Chokepoints, the assassination of Silicon Valley Bank, and the other egregious actions the Government has levied against the industry. The facts never mattered here. In any of these things. This is abhorrent abuse of the justice (sic) system against our citizens. Especially when you realize that violators in the tradfi realm get menial fines and a slap on the wrist. "For liberty and justice for all." -- Absolute bullshit.

One of my favorite things about having a weekly Bitcoin happy hour here in Vegas are the drop-ins we get being a global tourism hub. At our monthly book club on Sunday, we had @A drop in from the PNW (blaming this rain on him bringing it with him... iykyk), talk about his cool Nossie AI project, and a plethora of other Bitcoin-centric topics. Hey @miljan, can I haz Nossie AI in Primal? Last night, we had @Ton (dev of LightningCheckout.eu) drop in from the Netherlands with a crazy story on the ridiculous hoops he had to jump through to take his kids on a wild multi-country RV trip. Safe travels as they hit Mexico Light (LA) before heading into Mexico. If you ever find yourself in Vegas on a Wednesday night, please drop in.

Was listening to Bitcoin Today over on Twatter and Terence Michael (author of Proof of Money) summed up exactly what the Average Joe thinks of Bitcoin when he was explaining his reluctance to Nostr: "I don't see the need. I'm already perfectly comfortable and cozy here on X." It's also a tad bit ironic that the sub title of his book is "What you don't know about why you need it."

I hope people are keeping receipts during this Zcash griftathon. You literally can find very little discussion on Twatter prior to the last 30 days. Oh, and look at the uptick in activity that just happens to coincide with the massive October 10th crypto liquidation event. Totally coincidental, innit? Anyone that says this isn't a coordinated attack are just absolutely fucking braindead.
