Had a chance to visit my alma mater Indiana State University over the weekend. Spent a lot of time in this building as a student and it is now arguably the nicest mid-major arena in the country.

There has been a lot of talk about how SaaS is going to die because of AI. The reality is some will but some are fighting fire with fire. First, if you've ever worked in large scale corporate or government IT, you know how entrenched it can get and how difficult it would be to switch. It can take months of enterprise review boards and change control meetings just to get a fucking field added to a form. Second, some SaaS providers are giving significant discounts in exchange for signing long term contracts. Some are bundling new shiny AI modules into existing licensing agreements and some are even providing hundreds of professional development hours to implement so they can sink their hooks in deeper which then goes back to my first point. They are not going down without a fight. Source: Me. I've seen two very large publicly traded companies do this within the last 6 months.

If there is one thing that irks the hell out of me from "Bitcoiners" is the whole wishing for lower prices so they can accumulate more. That is peak TradFi behavior and cope from those that didn't take the last decade plus to build a position. Bitcoin cannot advance its mission pussyfooting around at lower prices. It needs to be much higher to be able to actually be seen/used an inflation hedge, used by countries to settle trade, etc. I'm not here to fuck about in the existing system especially when history shows all these LARPers don't buy at lower prices, either.

I really need a solution to be able to filter out news, rss, and other bots. Every time I try to find to search content from PEOPLE to interact with, all I get returned is shit from those accounts. It's a miserable user experience.

Listened to the Bitcoin Today twatter space with Keonne Rodriguez on the Samourai Wallet case today. For me, everything boils down to the fact that the SDNY ignored FinCEN's ruling that Samourai was not a money transmitter. The fact that it did not end there tells me this was just more Biden-era lawfare against the Bitcoin slash crypto slash digital asset industry. You can tuck this in right next to the Operation Chokepoints, the assassination of Silicon Valley Bank, and the other egregious actions the Government has levied against the industry. The facts never mattered here. In any of these things. This is abhorrent abuse of the justice (sic) system against our citizens. Especially when you realize that violators in the tradfi realm get menial fines and a slap on the wrist. "For liberty and justice for all." -- Absolute bullshit.
