Bitcoin cannot be destroyed, your ability to control the coins you own can be though. If someone burns their keys the Bitcoin is still there, but the key to move or spend is gone.
Bitcoin only doesn’t include stocks, even Bitcoins ones. If you buy or trade stocks you’re a shitcoiner probably, but definitely not a maximalist.
