My webhost blocks some requests behind proof of work, if my NIP-05 errors for you then you can verify it manually. I unfortunately can't disable this.

Don't worry, I didn't doxx you and I am not trying anything malicious with this.
But if you are seeing your real IP there, that means your client is not protecting you.
If anyone has an image including their avatars they can see you use nostr.
If someone manages to send you a personal image to try and find your IP it would mean you are not protected.
Sorry for the scare if that thing showed you as unprotected, but I'd rather scare you than leave you vulnerable without you knowing this.

Big tech and governments are walling off the open internet. We oppose restrictions and advance alternatives that protect people and their rights.
There are so many Nostr apps out there, I even vibe coded my own. But at the end of the day there is only one I trust with my account settings and that is Amethyst. That one reliably has never screwed up my settings, username trick, etc. So whenever I tweak settings I tend to do it there.
I am interested in buying a steam frame and I am willing to pay the price. But on the condition that I am able to own it. They did the mandatory steam account thing, I can accept that if it has flashing tools that let me flash custom stuff, make a backup of mine in offline mode, etc. S o its going to be wait and see. Especially with all the age verification crap I dont suddenly want to be forced signed out of my own device.
On reddit this opinion is totally unacceptable and you get downvoted for it. What do you think Nostr? Because I think my demands to buy are very reasonable.
