If anyone from England would like to move you can move to New* England to avoid this bullshit. We have a bunch of towns with the same names as ones in the UK, a bunch of English and Irish folks already, you’ll love it! 🇺🇸 🇬🇧 View quoted note →

It’s as if my daughter completely knows we’re flying to visit family tomorrow, and is doing her damndest to make sure we aren’t able to pack or get shit done with her refusal to go to sleep now 🙃

Watch this play out over the next few months/year The U.S. government doesn’t have nearly as much bitcoin as they want. In the grand scheme they have little. For them to be the bitcoin/crypto “capital of the world” they’re gonna need a lot more. This is one reason I believe they’re not disclosing how much they have. And Bo Hines has made it clear they’re going to be buying. It’s strategic for them, and they *need* to lead in their minds. So, do with that info what you will. Stack sats, stay humble, and don’t sell to the feds…

My favorite thing is hearing democrats parrot that they’re going to raise minimum wage to like $15 by like 2030 And then by then all these fares will be so high it doesn’t fucking matter. DITCH THEIR DIRTY MONEY, STACKS SATS AND THE WORLD GETS CHEAPER View quoted note →

Important to note. A guilty plea DOES NOT set legal precedent Meaning there won’t be legal precedent set on developers, privacy, etc from a plea deal. A guilty plea is a resolution between the prosecution and defense — it doesn’t involve a judge ruling on the lawfulness of conduct or setting legal standards. This sucks for these guys…but I get why they’re doing it. Media and future decisions may try to point to this plea in the future, but a new case would have to be built. View quoted note →

Novel prep has officially begun. Working draft title and plot laid out. Took a long walk this morning and brainstormed the first chapter. If you like Dave Eggers and DFW, you’ll probably like this. My natural style of writing and what I enjoy to read, and how best to tell this story (memoir with factionalized elements) is in the style of Eggers. I’m excited and terrified. In addition to Egger, biggest inspos here are the tv show This is Us, my own life, spirituality, and becoming. It’s a novel mainly about the fathers we survive, and the men we try to become. It will take as long as it needs to write

Chase and Coinbase enter into a new agreement today. But here’s Jamie Dimon, CEO of Chase (Epstein’s bank of choice) on Bitcoin and crypto 2 years ago. He’s never been afraid to make a buck even when he feels something is criminal. Or he’s changed his tune. Which one? 🤡

The U.S. federal government, and particularly the executive branch, has far too much power/control And neither political party seems intent on changing that. Quite the opposite

Imagine a startup saying “man, I wish we stayed small and generated very little revenue with barely any users and faded into obscurity.” That’s how some bitconers posture about bitcoin. Bitcoin is the greatest digitally scarce asset and money…the world wants it. That’s GREAT!🔥 And people you don’t like using it, governments stacking and corporations building centralized products on it, has 0 impact on your ability to use the open bitcoin protocol, to hold your own private keys, and use Bitcoin permissionlessly. Thats the beauty of it.

There are people and governments in this world that will accuse bitcoiners of trying to overthrow the dollar, overthrow the govt, treason, etc, just because we advocate for bitcoin and money separate from the state, and because their system is in slow decline all on its own. Just…be aware of this.

We call Bitcoin a peaceful revolution because it’s opting out of the current system U.S. govt - “here, use our money” Bitcoiners: “no thank you, I’m all set and have my own money” Bitcoiners will not be the violent ones. The fiat state is the one who perpetuates violence.

I’ve been radicalized - to think that having kids and prioritizing raising and providing for my family is the most important thing in life - to think that money separate from the state is the way at it always should have been - to think that privacy is not a crime, and “none of your business” should be the default - to think critically, and call most of politics what it is - bullshit and not to be trusted - to pursue living as self-sovereignly as possible, and build communities that emphasize this So yeah, I’ve been “radicalized”

The question isn’t do these freedom tech tools work (nostr, bitcoin, etc) The question is how do we get people to care without them hitting rock bottom first?
